Lebanon News sets only the following first-party cookies. There are no others.

Essential vs Optional Cookies
All of the cookies listed above are strictly necessary for the Service to work as you would expect: one protects the editorial sign-in, one remembers your language and one remembers your consent choice. None of them track you across other websites.
We currently set no optional cookies at all: no analytics, no performance measurement, no social-media embeds. If that ever changes, this page and the consent banner will say so, and any optional cookies would only be set with your consent.
How the Consent Banner Works
On your first visit, a banner at the bottom of the screen asks you to accept or reject cookies. “Accept” confirms that essential cookies may be used — and, should advertising cookies be introduced in the future, that you agree to them. “Reject” also keeps your visit limited to the essential cookies: today the practical outcome is the same, but your choice is recorded either way and will be honoured if optional cookies ever appear.
Your answer is stored in the cookie-consent cookie and in your browser’s local storage for one year, so the banner does not keep reappearing. To change your mind, clear the cookie-consent cookie (or this site’s data in your browser) and the banner will ask again.
No Analytics or Tracking
Lebanon News runs no analytics tools, no tracking pixels and no fingerprinting. We do not know who you are when you read an article, we do not follow you to other sites, and we do not sell or share any visitor data — there is none to sell.
Advertising Cookies
The Service reserves slots for third-party advertising. If advertising is introduced, the networks delivering it may want to set their own cookies, for example to limit how often you see the same ad or to measure performance.
Under our policy, such advertising cookies would only ever be set after you accept them through the consent banner; with “Reject”, no advertising cookies are set. Any future change to this arrangement will be reflected in this policy and in the banner itself.

Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of websites — including this one — from working as intended. Blocking only third-party cookies will not affect this site, which sets only first-party cookies.

If the cookies used on the Service change, this policy will be updated and the consent banner will reflect the new situation. The “last updated” date above shows when this page was last revised.
