Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 9, 2026

Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Lebanon News (the “Service”), an AI-powered news website operated from Lebanon. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please stop using the Service.

About the Service and AI-Generated Content

Lebanon News is an automated news aggregator. The articles published on the Service are not written by human journalists: they are generated by a large language model (AI) from news reports collected from third-party sources, mainly through RSS feeds and other publicly listed news sources.

Every article is reviewed by a human editor before it is published. The original sources used to produce each article are linked, and we encourage you to read the original reporting. Articles on this Service are AI-generated syntheses of that reporting, not original journalism.

Intellectual Property and Provenance

The underlying facts and reporting summarised in our articles belong to the original publishers, who retain all rights in their material. The AI-written text, headlines and summaries on this Service are generated by us, and every article links back to the sources it was produced from.

If you are a rights holder and believe that content published on the Service infringes your rights, contact us using the details below. We will investigate your request and, where appropriate, remove the content concerned.

Acceptable Use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in a way that harms the Service, its users, or the original publishers we aggregate from;
  • republish or resell Service content, or present AI-generated articles as human-written original reporting;
  • attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service’s administrative areas, infrastructure or data;
  • scrape or systematically extract content from the Service at scale without our prior written permission.

Accuracy and Disclaimer of Warranties

Although every article is reviewed by a human before publication, the text is machine-generated and may contain errors, omissions, outdated information or inaccuracies. You should not rely on the Service as your sole source of information, and you should independently verify anything important before acting on it.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties or conditions of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lebanon News and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or reputation, arising out of or in connection with your use of — or inability to use — the Service, including any reliance on AI-generated content.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of the Republic of Lebanon.

Third-Party Links and Advertising

The Service links to third-party news sources and may link to other websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

The Service reserves slots for third-party advertising. Where advertising is shown, it may be delivered by third-party networks that set their own cookies. Advertising cookies, where consent is required, are only set after you accept them through our cookie consent banner. See our Cookie Policy (/cookies) for details.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lebanon, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lebanon.
